Colson Kelly, who is also referred to as Machine Gun Kelly, has a unique style of rapping. Baker was born on April 22 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, both missionaries, took him to many trips during his early days. James Colson Baker, his father, was depressed as well as unemployment. Her mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. Baker relocated to Denver along with his father, and stayed for a time. Baker's lack of resources was a reason for the bullying of children in the area. The first time Baker heard of hip-hop was as he began sixth grade. Colson Baker, better known as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. Most famous for his hip hop infused with rock and modern alternative. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 He released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010. With lyrics that were faster than a bullet train the Cleveland artist saw an explosive climb to fame in the year. His career changed from self-released tapes to the signing of labels. Over the next few years, each album of his charted at number 10.
